Work description and art-historical context

Each triptych appears as a moment within a closed yet mobile circle. It belongs to an order that does not conceive of itself as a system, but as a rhythmic movement. Motifs emerge, recede, alter their form, and return in new constellations. Meaning does not arise through fixation, but through passage—through movement across these variations. In the interplay of fragment, quotation, sign, and material structure, an image space opens in which intellectual concepts and sensuous appearance permeate one another. The work does not preserve a state, but stages a play of superimpositions, where memory, intuition, and knowledge coexist on equal terms. Knowledge appears here as processual—an ongoing movement that resists final grasp and preserves its freedom precisely in doing so.
